The social landscape is changing faster than most businesses can keep up. The only guarantee is change so a key first step is acknowledging such and ensuring your business and employees are ready to embrace the opportunities presented. As Brian Ellefritz stated during the chat “the social leader’s mission has changed a lot in the 5 years I have done this. From tools to programs to culture.” I agree with Brian 100%. Social business success starts from the inside and works it’s way out.
We can’t let the latest shiny object or next big thing take us away from the core focus on customer experience, community and real results. We must stay relevant and in touch with our communities in a very human way as a top and ongoing priority.
