Social Marketing Makes Debut

By Jennifer Currence Stupp

Pam and Josh Moore both found themselves laid-off from their jobs last July.

It was just what this FishHawk husband-and-wife team needed to combine their 30+ years in media marketing and finally start their own business, Market Fruition.

“Our tagline is inspire-connect-achieve,” says Pam. “This is based on the belief that you first INSPIRE customers to listen, then CONNECT with them and lastly ACHIEVE objectives of selling product/service and satisfying customer need.”

Pam is a strong believer in integrated marketing. “A lot of people use what I call ‘Random Acts of Marketing.’ They don’t know what they want people to do once they get to their website.” Market Fruition helps its customers focus their marketing efforts to maximize every touch. “It takes people six to seven touches to get brand name recognition to stick in their head. That’s why consistently is so important across all mediums you use.”

“I’m a huge believer in social marketing,” says Pam. “It’s free, and it’s where marketing is going. Social marketing is here to stay. It enables you to build your own community. If you integrate social marketing with the campaign you’re spending your marketing dollars on, it can triple your touches and maximize your return on investment exponentially.” If a client doesn’t know how to use Facebook or Twitter or LinkedIn, Market Fruition will train them.

Pam also specializes in niche marketing, which is a company’s focus or targeting of a certain demographic area or trait. “This helps companies to focus: Who’s your audience? What’s your message? What do you want to accomplish? That’s who you want to market to. Don’t just throw your money to the wall and see what sticks.”

“We take our customers’ ideas from concept to fruition,” says Pam. “I ask an organization to focus on three words that describe their company. What is it that you want your customers to feel? If you have the right branding up front you’ll save a lot of time and money. Your brand gives your company a personality and connects with your target audience.”
