As I sit in front of my computer after a great week and excited to TWEET… part of me thinks…”have I lost my mind”? The other part thinks “am I dreaming?” The real self knows… “YOU ARE STARTING TO LIVE YOUR DREAMS”.
I am surrounded by so many people face to face daily as well as online in the world of social media via Twitter, Facebook, ISMA etc. that inspire me.
As I read my tweets today from people whom I have never met in person, some I have but yet I feel a sense of connectivity to them.
I know them, learn from them, connect with them, and they inspire me… I realize how blessed I am.
Blessed I chose this career, blessed I got laid off from my job, blessed I had a mean CEO that helped me make the final decision to NEVER go back to the corporate walls that were blocking the real me from coming out. Thankful those same experiences will help me ensure our employees NEVER feel the same way. Instead we will help inspire them, teach them and let them FLY!
As I teach others to be authentic via social media, I am also learning to be more transparent than ever before. And funny thing is… the more transparent I am, the more I learn about myself. My husband said to me today… “you are a different person than you were 12 months ago.” The truth is I had to take the 401k, the fat paycheck, the benefits, the 24 hour work days (though they're only 22 now as an entrepreneur HA) to find the ME again that was inside all along.
So there is no real purpose in this post except to tell those in my life that I appreciate you. My pastors, my family, my friends, my social media tweeps & peeps! Those who inspire me, coach me, help me, teach me, laugh at me, tweet me, retweet me, #FF me, and follow me. It is you who has inspired me. I hope that I can do one ounce of the buckets-o- inspiration that you have offered me.
