Did you know?
- The Google+1 button is hit at least 5 billion times per day.
- 70% of top 100 brands have a presence on Google+
- 40% of marketers use Google+
- YouTube has 1 billion + unique visitors per month. It also does better than any cable network at reaching the coveted 18-34 year old demographic.
- Google+ users consist of approximately 71% male, 29% female.
- 25-34 year olds are the most active demographic and make up 31%.
- People upload more than 1.5 billion images and gifs every week on Google+.
- 56.2% are active via mobile on a monthly basis.
- 35% Google+ of the 350+ million Google+ accounts are actively using the social network on a monthly basis. Compare this to Facebook monthly active users of 1.23 billion monthly as of December 31, 2013.
The number of minutes users of Google use the site on a monthly basis is a hot topic and not easily proven. It is much like getting a root canal getting this data out of Google. There have been 3rd party reports that vary between 3.5 – 7 minutes per month. Compare this to Twitter at 170 minutes per month and 257 minutes on Instagram. (source: WeAreSocial)
